EMDR Intensives

Deep, focused healing in a supportive and spacious environment.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed by the slow pace of weekly therapy, or ready to work more deeply on specific traumatic memories or emotional blocks — an EMDR Intensive could be exactly what you need.

These extended therapy sessions offer a powerful, focused space to process distressing experiences, unpick patterns that no longer serve you, and move towards lasting relief and transformation — all in a single day or half-day.

What is an EMDR Intensive?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based, trauma-focused therapy that helps you process and resolve the impact of past experiences that continue to affect you in the present.

In a typical therapy session, EMDR is offered in shorter bursts. But sometimes, especially with trauma work, you need more time, space, and continuity to go deeper — without the interruptions or limitations of weekly appointments.

That’s where EMDR Intensives come in.

What's Included

All EMDR Intensives are held in-person at my calm, cosy therapy space in Norwich, NR3, with a focus on psychological safety, comfort, and care.

 Half-Day Intensive — £425

3 hours of EMDR therapy + pre-session preparation materials + post-session resources
Ideal for processing one specific target or memory, or for clients already familiar with EMDR.

 Full-Day Intensive — £850

6 hours of EMDR therapy, with a 1.5 hour lunch break + pre-session planning + integration support
Perfect for deeper work on complex trauma, clusters of memories, or long-standing emotional blocks.

Both options include a personalised pre-session planning form and take-home integration resources. A follow-up call is available on request.

Why Choose an EMDR Intensive?

  • Faster Progress: Get further in a day than you might in weeks of standard therapy

  • More Spacious: No need to stop just as you’re getting somewhere — there’s time to go deep and return to regulation

  • Trauma-Informed & Neurodivergent-Affirming: The structure is shaped around you and what your system needs

  • Intimate, Supportive Setting: A private, welcoming space designed to support depth, comfort, and emotional safety

  • Flexible & Customised: We plan your day around your goals, history, and nervous system capacity

You might benefit from an EMDR Intensive if you:

  • Have limited time and want to make the most of your availability

  • Prefer immersive, focused work rather than weekly appointments

  • Are preparing for a major life event or transition (e.g., surgery, pregnancy, diagnosis, relationship ending)

  • Are already in weekly therapy but want to supplement with deeper trauma processing
